    I work in all areas of the home. Kitchens, pantry, office, game room, craft rooms, garage, bedrooms, etc.

  • Body doubling is a phenomenon where the presence of another helps you remain anchored to the task.

    You work separately, in real time, simultaneously. One person may be doing paperwork, the other may be doing the dishes.

    I can assist as needed, and for a lower hourly rate, with established clients.

Hello. I’m Amy-Ellen.
A Virgo turned professional organizer.
Distance Decluttering was born (specializing in virtual organizing) when the world went virtual in the Spring of 2020. A few years and vaccinations later, I now offer both virtual (world wide) and in-home services (Seattle area) as Decluttering Doula.
I’ve served on the Board of the NAPO (National Association of Productivity and Organizing Professionals) WA Chapter as the Professional Development Director for the 2024/2025 year and am a trusted partner with Home Sweet Home and MaxSold.
My previous professional experience includes being a care management assistant, working with older and vulnerable adult. I am also an artist.

2026 rates . Virtual = $60/hour. That includes email support between sessions and a written plan. In-Home sessions are $100/hour (plus sales tax). Two hour minimum. That includes one car load of donations. Special rates for artists and older adults.
